NCAA Tournament – Sweet Sixteen Ends Without Upsets
The second and final day of Sweet Sixteen basketball ended up without any upsets as Duke, Gonzaga, Louisville and Michigan State advanced to the Elite Eight. The Spartans were the only lower seed to win, but them winning isn’t really a surprise.

NCAA Tournament – Kentucky & Wisconsin Play Like Number Ones Should
The first night of Sweet Sixteen basketball belonged to the higher seeds, as Kentucky crushed West Virginia, Wisconsin escaped a tough North Carolina team, Notre Dame ran over Wichita State and Arizona pulled ahead late against Xavier.

NCAA Tournament – Kansas & Virginia Make it a Bad Day for Number Two Teams
While two Number one seeds, Duke and Wisconsin, kept the chains moving and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen, two number two seeds said goodbye to the tournament rather early, as Wichita State upset in-state rivals Kansas and Michigan State, for a second straight year, stood in the way of Virginia.

NCAA Tournament – Villanova First Number One to Go Home
The first number one seed to get knocked out of the 2015 NCAA Tournament are Villanova, losing to number-eight North Carolina State, sending them home before the Sweet Sixteen, while Kentucky, Arizona and North Carolina didn’t seem to have so much trouble in an excellent day for the ACC, still perfect after three days of basketball.

College Football – Day 11 Bowl Game Scores
After New Year’s, all the bowl games seem to pale in comparison to what we already had. The last day of multiple bowl games and good ones at that crowned Houston in the Armed Forced Bowl after a miraculous comeback, Tennessee in the Taxslayer bowl, UCLA in the Alamo Bowl and Oklahoma State won the Cactus Bowl.

College Football – Day 10 Bowl Game Scores
The best day in the history of bowl season as the College Football playoff proved itself with two incredible games – Oregon destroying Florida State in the Rose Bowl and followed by Ohio State stunning Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. Before that, the Big Ten won major points with wins for Wisconsin (over Auburn) and Michigan State (against Baylor) in the Outback and Cotton Bowl, while Missouri had no problem dispatching of Minnesota in the Citrus Bowl.

College Football – Day 9 Bowl Game Scores
On the final day of 2014 the SEC continues to take a pounding in the bowl games as TCU crushed Ole Miss in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl and Georgia Tech easily handled Mississippi State at the Capital One Orange Bowl. Boise State pulled off another big bowl game for them, beating Arizona at the Vizio Fiesta Bowl.

College Football – Day 8 Bowl Game Scores
In another fine day of bowl games with big names in them, Notre Dame beat LSU in the Music City Bowl making it a little bit less depressing of a season, Georgia got their happy ending by crushing Louisville in the Belk Bowl while Stanford made mince meat of Maryland, supposedly a Big Ten but it’s hard to think of them as one at this point.
