There are three undefeated teams left in the 2014-2015 College Basketball season. Kentucky in the SEC and the top contenders to go all the way, while Duke and Virginia in the ACC offer less flashy and heralded option for not losing, although just as effective.

Kentucky Wildcats – Still Undefeated, But Barely
The SEC might not be so easy after all for Kentucky. They remain undefeated in the 2014-2015 season, but were pushed to the brink by Ole Miss in their first conference game, missing 89-86 in overtime led by a huge shooting performance from Aaron Harrison.

Oklahoma Over Texas – Big 12 Humiliation No One Expected
The fans were very quiet inside the Frank Erwin Center during and after Oklahoma finished ripping Texas apart, beating the Longhorns 70-49 with an excellent display of defense and smart, unselfish offense, suggesting they should be taken very seriously in the Big 12 this season.

Notre Dame Over North Carolina – Small Ball is a Wonderful Thing
People are starting to realize that Notre Dame and their four guard lineup is more than just a gimmick, pulling off a 71-70 win against North Carolina with a Zach Auguste layup to win the game, although the Tar Heels had plenty of opportunities to seal the deal.

Louisville Cardinals – The ACC Isn’t So Bad
In their first game as part of the ACC, Louisville had no problem leaving their mark with a road win over Wake Forest, beating the Deamon Deacons 85-76.

Kentucky Over Louisville – Slowed Down But Still Unstoppable
The last chance to hand Kentucky a loss in nonconference play ended rather early as their remained undefeated with a 58-50 win at Louisville, handing the Cardinals their first loss of the season, getting a big push off the bench from Tyler Ulis and looking unbeatable going into SEC play.

North Carolina Over Ohio State – A Whole New Level of Difficulty
For North Carolina, a 82-74 win over Ohio State was a great way to stop their slide down the rankings and show they can handle the best the Big Ten has to offer. For the Buckeyes, losing to a ranked team for the second time this season, it was a reminder that they’re still not as good as they’d like to be.

Kentucky Over UCLA – Perfection for Some, Humiliation for Others
For the second time this season, Kentucky face a storied, marquee program and make mince meat out of them, beating UCLA 83-44 which included holding them to just 7 points in the first half and keeping their streak of 12 wins since the start of the season, all by a double digit margin, alive and kicking.

Duke Over UConn – Beating What They Want to Become
Clearly UConn aren’t the same team they were when they won the national championship last season. Duke still struggled against a difficult opponent, led by Tyus Jones while Jahlil Okafor struggled to still finish with an almost double double and walk away with another win, 66-56 to remain undefeated.
