Every game it seems like Florida State find a way to complicate things before making a huge comeback. Jameis Winston was terrible and still the Seminoles beat Florida 24-19, remaining undefeated and staying on course to make the College Football playoff, even though they don’t deserve it.

Ole Miss Over Mississippi State – The End of a Playoff Dream
This season could have been a game-changer for both Ole Miss and Mississippi State. The Bulldogs looked like they were in the clear to do something special, but stumbled in the end. The Rebels made sure their big rivals didn’t even have a shot at redemption, handing them a 31-17 loss, putting an end to any doubt about whether or not the Bulldogs will make the playoff.

Alabama Over Auburn – SEC West Gets its Predictable Ending
Despite the roller coaster season in the SEC West, the ending was the predictable one: Alabama beating Auburn 55-44 to win the division and go to play for the conference title as the number one team in the nation, surviving the Blake Sims interception show by unleashing Amari Cooper, left wide open or in one on one coverage too many times, leaving the Tigers helpless in their attempts to ruin the Crimson Tide’s season for a second straight year.

College Football – Rivalries Possibly Decide Final Playoff Rankings
While week 14 of the 2014 College Football season was dubbed rivalry week for the history in most of its encounters, the focus went to the division and conferences titles to be decided, and what the results meant for the next playoff rankings to be released, as the SEC (with Alabama and Missouri) was finally decided, Oregon found it it’ll play Arizona for the Pac-12, Wisconsin are the ones who get to play Ohio State for the Big Ten and Florida State remain the only undefeated team in the nation after Marshall lost in something that looked like a basketball game.

College Football – Week 14 Scores & Standings
A busy weekend of rivalries and title deciding games. The most important of them? Alabama beating Auburn to win the SEC West, which means they’ll play Missouri in the conference title game. Wisconsin will go on to play Ohio State thanks to a win over Minnesota, Arizona of all teams get to face Oregon in the Pac-12 while the Big 12 will need one more week to decide who it is that gets a chance to play for the national championship. Maybe it won’t be anyone.

Missouri Tigers – The Undeserving SEC East Champions
For the second straight season, Missouri end up with the SEC East division title and a chance to win the conference with a berth in the conference championship game after beating Arkansas 21-14 and fend off the challenge from Georgia, probably the better team of the two, who are now left with only a rivalry game to win and hope to find themselves in a good bowl game.

TCU Over Texas – One Step Closer to the Playoff
If the committee needed a statement win from TCU to convince them they deserve to be in the playoff, their 48-10 drubbing of Texas in Austin should be enough to earn them some style points. There’s also the matter of actually winning the Big 12 and getting over a team or two in the final rankings, but that’s another matter.
