Our World Cup preview series takes us to Group C, which includes the super talented France and their high hopes; the exciting and sympathetic Denmark led by Christian Eriksen; Peru making a much awaited comeback to the tournament with few expectations; and Australia, mainstays in the tournament, but rarely for more than 3 matches.

The fourth day of the Copa America was filled with drama and surprise, as Venezuela stunned Colombia in a 1-0 win while Brazil needed a very late Douglas Costa goal to overcome Peru 2-1 and start their Group C campaign on the right foot.

We’ve concluded the second round of matches in group C as Colombia secure a historic qualification to the round of 16 thanks to a big win over the Ivory Coast while Japan and Greece bored everyone with a dull, goalless draw. Uruguay, with Luis Suarez in the vanguard, came away with a big win over England, probably ending the tournament for the English side in the difficult Group D.
