The last match day of the World Cup qualifying groups in Europe and the Americas has mostly battle for the final second-place spots in UEFA or the last one or two automatic slots across the Atlantic. Teams That Have Already Qualified for the World Cup
The World Cup in Brazil approached, and aside from the host nation, we have nine more nations that have clinched their spot in the 2014 tournament: Japan, Australia, Iran and South Korea from the Asian qualifiers; Netherlands and Italy from Europe; Argentina from South America; and the USA & Costa Rica from the North American group.

2014 World Cup Qualifying – CONMEBOL & CONCACAF Groups Results
We have our first team from the South American group making it into the World Cup (aside from the host, Brazil), as Argentina enjoyed a huge 5-2 win over Paraguay to clinch their spot. In the North American group, the huge rivalry match between the USA and Mexico ended in favor of the Americans (2-0), taking the top spot in the group.
