College Football: One Major & Illegal Upset, Favorites Struggle, Rankings to Shuffle
Week 2 of the college football season was supposed to simple: Only two real threats of upsetting ranked teams, and plenty of easy games for the rest. Teams like Alabama, Ohio State and Michigan made it look easy. Others, like Georgia and Clemson struggled with some very weak opponents, which could hurt them in the rankings. Others, like TCU and especially Oklahoma State, fell into the upset trap, which will probably move them from the polls, at least for one week.

Week 2 of the college football season offers very little in terms of upset potential big, ranked clashes, without a single game of two ranked teams. However, finally getting to see The Battle at Bristol between Virginia Tech and Tennessee happen is something to look forward to, while Arkansas coming to spoil the season for TCU is probably the other game to look forward to if you’re looking for parity.

The second week of the NFL preseason was concluded with a busy Saturday that included the Buffalo Bills shutting out the New York Giants, Cam Newton looking great in a Carolina Panthers win, Blake Bortles throwing two touchdown pass in a Jacksonville Jaguars loss, and Jared Goff tossing a late winner for the undefeated Los Angeles Rams.

NFL: Week 2 Preseason Scores
In a short day of action, the Dallas Cowboys stood out with another terrific performance from backup quarterback Dak Prescott, involved in four touchdowns, while Tony Romo had a quiet preseason debut. Colt McCoy looked pretty good for the Redskins, still without Cousins in their preseason games, while no offense went the San Diego Chargers way against a rough looking Arizona Cardinals team, as both teams failed to score an offensive touchdown.

NFL: Week 2 Preseason Scores
The NFL Preseason began its second week of action, with the best starting quarterback performance belonging to Robert Griffin III, despite the Cleveland Browns losing to the Atlanta Falcons, throwing two touchdown passes, one of them to Terrelle Pryor. Jimmy Garoppolo looked good in a New England Patriots win, mostly against the lesser defense, and Russell Wilson looked surprisingly rusy in a Seattle Seahawks loss.

2015 NFL Season – Week 3 Power Rankings
In the season’s second edition of the Power Rankings, the top doesn’t seem different: New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers as the likely Super Bowl teams, with the Arizona Cardinals and Cincinnati Bengals posing the biggest threats, although if the Dallas Cowboys survive their injury scare, they should be counted in too. The bottom is filled with new names, with the Houston Texans and Chicago Bears making it difficult to choose who is worse.
