World Records Broken in the 2015 Swimming World Championships
A world record was broken 12 times in the 2015 Swimming world championships in Kazan, often by the same person in the same event day after day. Those who stood out were Sarah Sjostrom of Sweden in butterfly events, Adam Peaty of the United Kingdom in the breaststroke and above all of them was Katie Ledecky of the United States with an incredibly dominant week, taking no less than five gold medals.

London 2012 – Gold Medal Winners on Day 15 of the Olympics
Day 15 of the 2012 Olympic games ended on the track, fittingly, with Usain Bolt and the Jamaican 4×100 relay team, beating the United States and setting a new world record with 36.84. The American’s did take gold in the 4×400 relay while Mo Farah completed a double of his own, becoming the 7th man to win the 5000 and 10,000 meters races.

Former California Quarterback Sets Paper Airplane Record
Joe Ayoob, former Calfironia Golden Bears quarterback, didn’t make it into the NFL and his Arena Football career hasn’t really taken off as well, but he is the newly made world record holder by throwing a paper airplane further than any other man or woman have thrown in history.
