You never know what’s true and what’s fake or slightly edited on the Internet these days, so there are a couple of doubts about how real this video released by the Belgian FA of Eden Hazard playing some keepie-uppie with Marouane Fellaini, Jan Vertonghen and Axel Witsel before volleying a ball and breaking a camera before bursting out laughing.
So, is it real or not? It doesn’t really matter. With the World Cup coming very soon and Belgium heading into the tournament with plenty of expectations, with some even calling them the dark horse of candidates to win the tournament.
Whether or not Hazard really broke a camera or this is some neat acting on his and his teammate’s parts, it’s hard to deny this being a pretty cool video, which is used as a marketing tool to sell Belgium national team jerseys, and increase the hype as we get nearer to the World Cup.
Belgium have been drawn into group H, considered to be a weak and possibly easy one for them, where they’ll face Russia, Algeria and South Korea.
