Jhasmani Campos Scores Too Good and Easy to be True Goal

Jhasmani Campos of Club Bolivar is the most expensive player in Bolivian football, costing the 2011 champions $750,000 after bringing him over from Oriente Petrolero. Campos scored one of the slowest yet impressive goals of the season in South American football by easily dribbling through Real Mamore defenders.

At 23, Campos has already been capped 17 times for the Bolivian national team and has been one of the stars of the local league since the age of 18. He was on the verge of leaving Bolivia for Brazil twice – Once for Gremio after playing with their youth squad for a while and later to Bahia. Both times the negotations collapsed due to economic differences between both sides.

After the win Bolivar are fifth in the Torneo Clausura, with Lorgio Roca scoring a hat trick in the 6-0 win over Marmoa. For Campos, probably the most talented player in the Bolivian league, it was the first goal of the season and his first for Bolivar since making the switch.
