Maria Sharapova Hits Novak Djokovic With Tennis Ball

Between easily winning matches at the 2012 Olympic Games tennis tournament, Maria Sharapova and Novak Djokovic had time to have fun in practice, trying to pull off some impressive trick, ending up with Djokovic rolling on the ground in pain and Sharapova on the ground because she coudln’t stop laughing.

Novak Djokovic put some kind of canister on his head, edging Sharapova to hit it from close range. The French Open champion and the number 3 player in the world obliged, hitting Djokovic where it hurts the most, sending the Australian Open champion and world number 2 to the ground, joining him in laughter rather than pain.

Novak Djokovic’s next opponent in the Olympic tournament is Andy Roddick after beating Fabio Fognini in the first round, while Maria Sharapova, after beating Shahar Pe’er of Israel in the first round, will be the favorite heading into her match with Britain’s Laura Robson.
