Four sets is what Nadal needed to beat Roger Federer, winning his sixth Roland Garros title and his 10th Grand Slam title. Federer had his moments, especially in a 5-2 start. It wasn't enough. Nadal wasn't brilliant, but good enough and long enough, better as the game grew longer, to beat Federer for the 17th time in 25 matches.
