2014 World Cup – Germany & Ghana Give Us the Best Match so Far

From a Ghana team that simply outplayed many’s favorite to win the tournament, to Miroslav Klose saving Germany and becoming the joint all-time top scorer of the World Cup and Thomas Muller finishing the match on his back with blood covering his face, the 2-2 draw was the best match we’ve seen in this tournament so far.

2014 World Cup – Lionel Messi Makes Everything Possible

It was another rough match for Argentina as they reached injury time without scoring and with little hope of busting the Iranian bunker known as their 10 man defense. But Lionel Messi, in bad or good matches, only needs a certain amount of space and freedom to change everything. His goal might be something we’re used to seeing from him, but it doesn’t make it any less pretty or important.

2014 World Cup – Bosnia Going Home Because of the Referee

One terrible referee, not the first we’ve seen in the World Cup, has cost Bosnia a ticket to the round of 16. Instead, after losing to Nigeria with a goal that shouldn’t have been disallowed and another that should have been, they no longer have a chance to qualify from Group F, while Peter O’Leary, one of the worst officials in this tournament, won’t see anything harsh done to him. NBA Rumors – Boston Celtics Can’t Get Kevin Love so They’ll Trade Rajon Rondo

For a moment it looked like the Boston Celtics are the front runners in the race to try and convince the Minnesota Timberwolves regarding the Kevin Love trade. But as other teams show their stuff, it’s clear that the rebuilding and currently direction-less Celtics aren’t seriously being considered, which might opt them to go in a different direction completely: Trading Rajon Rondo and keep doing their overhaul.

NBA Rumors – Houston Rockets Will Trade Jeremy Lin & Omer Asik Only for Carmelo Anthony & LeBron James

Whatever it is that LeBron James decides to do in the next few days, it seems everyone in the NBA is trying to find an angle that gets him to land with them. The Houston Rockets have an interesting starting point and a good cap situation if they need to trade for him, and if not him, Carmelo Anthony. Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin are just waiting on the shelf as movable objects, but it seems that only James or Anthony will get the Rockets to give up the duo.

16 Best Memes of Costa Rica Stunning Italy in the World Cup

It should no longer be a surprise, but Costa Rica converted a few more people into believers after beating Italy, leaving all the “giants” in Group D behind to secure qualification. The victory also means that England are out of the World Cup, although it also had something to do with Uruguay and Luis Suarez, which is obviously noted by the memes and joke makers.
