Two things people can’t stop talking about? Game of Thrones, with a popularity that’s rising faster than the cold winds, and the NBA playoffs, reaching its Final Four stage of the season. Bleacher Report decided to combine the two in a perfectly done animated short, which is already scorching the internet.

NBA Playoffs – Oklahoma City Thunder Beat Los Angeles Clippers, Indiana Pacers Finish Washington Wizards

The two more complicated series are over as well, as the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers took care of business on the road in game 6. The Thunder beat the Los Angeles Clippers 104-98 behind a huge night from Kevin Durant and some officiating help; the Pacers knocked off the Washington Wizards with a 93-80 victory, led by David West this time.

Liverpool FC – Brendan Rodgers Cleaning House

The only way is up for Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool, but for that to happen they’re going to need to get rid of a lot of extra weight which means players like Iago Aspas and Luis Alberto possibly leaving after just one season at the club, with the future not looking too incredibly bright for other players who spent last season on loan.

Transfer Rumors 2014 – Arsenal Interested in Karim Benzema & Mario Mandzukic

Last season was the perfect example of how much Arsenal need a better, or at least another striker. Spending is no longer taboo, so it’s not surprising to learn of the team’s interest in Karim Benzema of Real Madrid and if that doesn’t work out they’ll turn their attentions to Mario Mandzukic of Bayern Munich.

Portland Trail Blazers – It’s Next Year or Never

This was a good season for the Portland Trail Blazers, but not a great one. Having LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard wasn’t enough without bench or an offensive plan that didn’t involve taking contested jump shots. While young teams usually seem like they’ll stick around forever and just improve, this franchise is going to have some big decisions to make over the next couple of seasons in order to try and remain on the upward curve, which hopefully ends up with them contending for a title.

Brooklyn Nets – The Window of Opportunity Just Closed

Like every other old team getting knocked out of the playoffs, there are plenty of questions regarding the future of the Brooklyn Nets. If the combination of Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce wasn’t even close to enough now, it’s hard to believe that the near future considering their cap situation is going to be filled with more deep runs in the playoffs and contending for the NBA title.
