Brooklyn Nets – Luck Has Nothing to do With It
Great shooting performances sometimes have more to do with luck than actual skill or great basketball, but the Brooklyn Nets dominated thanks to the 3-point shot by playing smart basketball and moving the ball quickly, resulting in a 104-90 win over the Miami Heat to claim their first victory in the conference semifinals thanks to some great shooting from Joe Johnson and despite a good game from LeBron James.

Jeff Gordon Wins at Kansas Speedway – Finally Finishing First
Despite leading the standings, Jeff Gordon entered the 11th race of the season without a single win. That changed with an impressive fight, holding on against a charging Kevin Harvick in the final lap to claim his first win of the 2014 NASCAR season on the Kansas Speedway, pretty much making it definite he’ll be part of the chase while Danica Patrick, finishing 7th, had her best finish since moving to NASCAR.

Atletico Madrid still control their own destiny and don’t even have to win both remaining matches. Barcelona can claim the championship despite all that’s happen this season if they win twice, while Real Madrid are in a bad situation, needing a lot of help from too many other teams.
