Roger Federer 2005 US Open

Roger Federer needed four sets (6-3, 2-6, 7-6, 6-1) to beat Andre Agassi, taking his second straight US Open and his sixth Grand Slam title. Federer had his usual Lleyton Hewitt rendezvous in the Semi Final, beating the Australian in four sets. Rafael Nadal, the second seed in the tournament, was out in the third round, losing to James Blake.
