Day 3 of the 2012 Olympic games will be once again focused on what happens on the pool, especially in the men’s 200 meters freestyle race, as Ryan Lochte will try and get over his disappointing 4×100 relay performance against the surging Sun Yang, trying to win his second gold medal in three days.

Gold Medal Winners on Day 2 of the 2012 Summer Olympics
Dana Vollmer set a new world record, one of two on the day in the pool, winning the 100 meters butterfly competition, while France and South Africa took gold in the pool as well with the French overtaking Ryan Lochte and the United States in the final meters of the relay race, while China had another good day with gold medals in diving (as always) and shooting and Marianne Voss of the Netherlands won the most dramatic gold of the day in the Women’s road race.

Dream Team 2012 – Kevin Durant & USA have it Easy vs France
Kobe Bryant said that it won’t be an easy game against France. Everyone who watched it begs to differ, as the 2012 Dream Team, Team USA, had no problem from the second quarter onward against the athletic French team with 6 NBA players, winning their Olympics opener 98-71, with Kevin Durant leading the way with 22 points.
