In a draft that’s all about offensive tackles, especially on the left side of the line, Alabama right tackle D.J. After losing two of their top three receivers from last season, it doesn’t seem like the St. Louis Rams did enough in free agency to replace them, which means they’ll be looking for a way to improve the situation through the draft (in which they have two first-round picks) by getting Tavon Austin coming out of West Virginia.

After a groin injury made him miss most of last season, Daryl Smith, departing the Jacksonville Jaguars, isn’t seeing a lot of interest around the NFL in this free agency period, but recently was picked up by the radar of the St. Louis Rams, in need of a veteran linebacker who is quite productive and varied in the positions he can play in, something Smith fits the description of when healthy.

It hasn’t been exactly a dream career for Mohamed Massaquoi since entering the NFL, spending four not-too-impressive seasons with the Cleveland Browns, who probably expected a little bit more from the wide receiver they picked in the second round. After not getting too much interest during the early stages of free agency, it seems the Jacksonville Jaguars, also quite dormant up to this point, might be looking to give him a chance to impress.

2013 NFL Free Agency – Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals & Carson Palmer Get What They Want
Instead of releasing Carson Palmer like they intended to, the Oakland Raiders found a way to get something out of the Arizona Cardinals for the declining quarterback, who’ll probably be the starter for the team in 2013, while the San Francisco 49ers finally ended the negotiations with Nnamdi Asomugha, coming out as the winner for the cornerback out of the variety of chasers.
