England remained perfect in their World Cup Qualifying group, beating Kazakhstan in the Ortalyk Tsentralnyi Stadium 4-0, improving their record to 6 wins in 6 games and a 20-0 goal record under Italian Manager Fabio Capello.

England looked very unconvincing in the first 35 minutes of the game but qualifiers tend to be that way. Gareth Barry scored the first in the 40th minute and Emile Heskey made it 2-0 just before the half time whistle, making things much more comfortable and easy for the English side.

The second half saw Wayne Rooney with an acrobatic finish and 5 minutes later a Frank Lampard penalty set the score at 4-0, with a fan bursting into the field and chased by soldiers being the most exciting moment late in the game. Unlike the 2008 Euro, there’s no chance England won’t get to the tournament.English fans can start booking flights and hotels for South Africa 2010.
