Gerald Green never really impressed with anything but his athletics skills. Too raw of a talent to come out straight from high school, being the 18th pick in the 2005 NBA Draft. Now with the New Jersey Nets, Green, who made his return to the NBA this season, pulled off an incredible Alley-Oop dunk, better than anything else anyone has pulled off this season so far.

Signing with the Nets on a day contract last month, which got extended again, Green is averaging 8.9 points per game since making his return to the league, and in the 106-112 loss to the Houston Rockets, Green produced one of the best games of his career, scoring 26 points while playing 23 minutes off the bench.

His impressive moment came in the third quarter, as MarShon Brooks led the fast break, finding Green on the fly. Green is the 2007 All-Star dunk champion if your memory serves you well, so just dunking it was too easy for him. Trying to make the most of his second 10-day contract, Green caught the ball and produced a windmill dunk in mid air. At the time, it put the Nets 2 points behind the Rockets.

Green left the NBA after the 2008-2009 season, spending the next two seasons in Russia, with summer league attempts in between. He began a China career in late 2011 but was cut by the team. He returned to the United States after the strike was over, joining the Los Angeles Defenders of the D-League, paving his way back into the NBA, which at 26, might present him the final chance to cement a place in the league.
