It was 0-0 as the first half ended, and Manchester United looked bad. Very bad. Wigan were closer to score in the beginning of the first half, but then came Wayne Rooney – a fantastic header and his second goal (100th goal as a United player) of the season opened the flood gates – Berbatov, Owen (his first goal for United), Rooney again and Nani with a fantastic free kick finished things off, capping of an amazing second half, reminiscent of the 5-2 comeback win against Tottenham from last season.
