With the El Clasico coming our way this Sunday, it’s time to remember the last two seasons and the four matches that have passed – Barcelona winning both games last season, including that historic demolition in Madrid, 6-2, and Real winning both games in 2007-2008, with their 4-1 Championship celebration especially painful, as Barcelona players had to form a guard of honor to congratulate the champions. Historically, each team has a fantastic home record, but away wins are becoming more and more often in recent years, with Barcelona winning their home game only twice since 2003 and Real winning only three times while suffering three defeats at home.
