Burnley got robbed… well, not robbed, but United didn’t deserve the 3-0 scoreline, and when looking south to London and the demolition of Sunderland by league leaders Chelsea, Manchester don’t deserve the title right now. Actually, if it wasn’t for a very good performance from Van der Sar, making his return to goal, Berbatov and Rooney’s goals wouldn’t be enough. But still, this is United, and despite the very flat performance from the red devils at old Trafford this afternoon, their two strikers moments of flair and brilliance were enough to keep them a point behind Chelsea although the Blues have a game in hand. Burnley? They’ll be left with the compliments and the knowledge they’ll have to fight for survival the rest of the season, as Brian Laws debut match as manager produced as predicted, 0 points.

Dimitar Berbatov, 64th minute

Wayne Rooney, 69th minute

Mame Biram Diouf, 90th minute
