Twenty Five Goals in seven matches today in the English Premiership, as Manchester United, as usual, do it in extra time, with loads of comebacks and late goals from all the parks. Here we go.

The early game was at the Reebok Stadium, where 20,000 fans saw Bolton upset the slipping Tottenham who thought the midweek win over Inter will help them get their first win ever at Bolton’s stadium. Nope.

Bolton were 3-0 by the 76th minute, with Kevin Davies scoring two goals, one from offside and the second from a penalty kick that shouldn’t have been awarded. Gretar Steinsson scored the second from the home side. Spurs made a late comeback effort with Alan Hutton scoring a nice goal to make it 3-1 and Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko scoring with a nice volley in the 87th minute, but Martin Petrov, who came off the bench just moments earlier, sealed the 4-2 win for Bolton with a calm finish. With this win, Bolton rose to fifth in the table with 15 points, ahead of Tottenham, at Sixth, with a better goal difference.

Birmingham Avram Grant and West Ham their first away win of the season despite the Hammers leading 2-0 with two quick goals in the beginning of the second half from Frederic Piquionne (3rd of the season) and Valon Behrami (first). Birmingham equalized through Cameron Jerome (2nd) and Liam Ridgwell (3rd). West Ham are still bottom of the Premiership despite their improved play of late with 7 points while Birmingham are six spots above at 14th with 12 points.

Blackburn Rovers rebounded from their painful loss to Chelsea last week with a 2-1 win over Wigan at home, with Pedersen scoring his first goal of the season and Jason Roberts getting his first as well. Charles N’Zogbia scored for the visitors who remain in the relegation zone with 10 points at 18th. Blackburn rise to 15th with 12 points.

Blackpool and Everton finished their match at Bloomfield Road, the Premiership’s smallest stadium, in a 2-2 draw. Blackpool drew first blood through Neil Eardley, scoring his first goal this season.

Tim Cahill equalized, with his head, four minutes later, his fifth goal this season. The second half started with Blackpool taking the lead again – David Vaughan scoring his first of the season. That lead stood for two minutes, as Seamus Coleman, a loanee at Blackpool last season, scored his first goal of the season for Everton. Both teams remain with 14 points at the middle of the table.

Another draw in another London – Birmingham match, as Fulham scored a 90th minute goal from Brede Hangeland, countering Marc Albrighton’s 41st minute goal.

Both teams remain tight in the middle of the table, at 12-13th places, with 13 points each.

Asamoah Gyan scored his first Brace in England, the only two goals in Sunderland’s 2-0 win over Stoke at the Stadium of Light, as the Black Cats rose to 7th in the Charts while Stoke dropped to 17th. Gyan’s double, making it three goals for him since arriving for 13 million pounds from Rennes, eases the pain a bit after the painful derby loss to Newcastle earlier in the week, 5-1.

And we’ll finish with the most important match of the day, meaning the one with title implications, as Manchester United did it again in extra time, this time through Park Ji-Sung in the 93rd minute, after a very frustrating day against the visitors from Wolverhampton.

Park scored the opener just before the end of the first half, on a day in which he was pretty much the only United player to preform in an above average level. Ebans-Blake scored equalized for Wolves in the 66th minute while United struggled to find a way and create chances. In the end it was Park, who just took the ball from the wing and entered the penalty area, finishing and finding the net from a tight angle. United are second with 23 points, a game more than Chlesea who play at Anfield tomorrow, 2 points ahead of Fergie’s boyz.
