It hasn’t been exactly a dream career for Mohamed Massaquoi since entering the NFL, spending four not-too-impressive seasons with the Cleveland Browns, who probably expected a little bit more from the wide receiver they picked in the second round. After not getting too much interest during the early stages of free agency, it seems the Jacksonville Jaguars, also quite dormant up to this point, might be looking to give him a chance to impress.

Being stuck in limbo is never a pleasant feeling, and the Kansas City Chiefs are in risk of alienating Branden Albert, who is somewhat on the trading block after signing a franchise tender. He didn’t show up for the voluntary workouts, the only player on the team to miss them, and wants clarifications, and even better, a commitment from the Chiefs to his future, instead of leaving him in the dark.

NFL Rumors – Dallas Cowboys Interested in Drafting Jonathan Cooper
One of the biggest problems the Dallas Cowboys have been trying to address these last couple of seasons has been their offense line, or to be more exact, the big holes in it. Without too much money to use on free agents, the Cowboys turn to the draft, hoping that Jonathan Cooper coming out of North Carolina is still going to be available when they get to make their first round pick.

Despite making some additions to their wide receivers corps already in the free agency period, it seems everyone is pretty sure the New England Patriots need more and better in order to improve their offensive game in 2013, with Emmanuel Sanders, the restricted free agent from the Pittsburgh Steelers, still up for grabs, if the offer is good enough.

NFL Rumors – Seattle Seahawks Interested in Tyler Thigpen & Matt Leinart
Now that the Seattle Seahawks got rid of their expensive backup quarterback, it’s time to find another one, who might be able to fill their needs in read-option expertise a little bit better in case something happens to Russell Wilson. One option is Tyler Thigpen, due to his running skills and experience in that kind of offense, while the other is the almost forgotten about Matt Leinart, due to his connections with Pete Carroll.

Despite all of the development Andre Smith has shown over the last couple of season with the Cincinnati Bengals, becoming one of the better right tackles in the NFL, it hasn’t brought the sides any closer to agreeing upon a new deal, despite the team mostly focusing on keeping their own free agents this off-season instead of bringing players from the outside.

NFL Rumors – Pittsburgh Steelers Interested in Tavon Austin & Jarvis Jones
While the rivalry between West Virginia and Pittsburgh is quite a fierce one in college football, that shouldn’t stop the Pittsburgh Steelers from trying to acquire Tavon Austin to fill in their dwindling receiving core, while also thinking about filling in their need for a linebacker with Jarvis Jones coming out of Georgia.

At this point, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers seem like the only team in the NFL willing to trade with the New York Jets for Darrelle Revis before the season begins, but even the Bucs, anxious to improve their secondary position, are stalling and waiting with their move, possibly waiting for the NFL draft to inch a bit closer in order to get a better read of what they can get with their first round pick.

NFL Rumors – Arizona Cardinals Waiting for Oakland Raiders to Release Carson Palmer
It’s funny how the NFL quarterback situation is like a row of Domino stones, waiting for one to fall and start a chain reaction. The Oakland Raiders are looking for the guy (Matt Flynn) that will allow them to cut Carson Palmer, which will give the Arizona Cardinals the chance to sign the former number one pick.
