Kentucky Wildcats – Still Undefeated, But Barely
The SEC might not be so easy after all for Kentucky. They remain undefeated in the 2014-2015 season, but were pushed to the brink by Ole Miss in their first conference game, missing 89-86 in overtime led by a huge shooting performance from Aaron Harrison.

Bowl Season – So Much For SEC Dominance
Sometimes the SEC has the best team in the nation, but it doesn’t make it the best conference. TCU destroying Ole Miss in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl and Georgia Tech running all over Mississippi State in the Capital One Orange Bowl proved that no matter how much hyped a conference or a division might be, the run of national championships has distorted the perception of the quality and depth of the SEC.

Ole Miss Over Mississippi State – The End of a Playoff Dream
This season could have been a game-changer for both Ole Miss and Mississippi State. The Bulldogs looked like they were in the clear to do something special, but stumbled in the end. The Rebels made sure their big rivals didn’t even have a shot at redemption, handing them a 31-17 loss, putting an end to any doubt about whether or not the Bulldogs will make the playoff.

Arkansas Over Ole Miss – Wishing the Season Began Now
We got a taste of what Arkansas can do at home all season long, and it seems these last two weeks have been perfect for them to come out and show their strengths, getting a second consecutive shutout against a conference opponent, beating Ole Miss 30-0 and winning their sixth game of the season, making themselves bowl eligible for the first time in three years.

Auburn Over Ole Miss – SEC West Shaken Up Real Good
So much of the nation’s attention when it comes to College Football this season is focused on what happens in the SEC West, as Auburn change the picture of the division, coming away with a big 35-31 win over Ole Miss thanks to a late touchdown by Cameron Artis-Payne, probably knocking the Rebels out of contention for a playoff spot.
-
LSU Over Ole Miss – Defense Wins in the SEC West
The SEC is a gauntlet, and while Ole Miss might have the best defense in the nation, its offense wasn’t enough to come out of Tiger Stadium with their undefeated record intact, as LSU came away with 10-7 victory that still doesn’t put them back in the hunt for a playoff place, but shows that the blows they took earlier this season didn’t finish them off for good.

College Football – Only Three Undefeated Teams Left
Just one SEC West team is left undefeated after the LSU Tigers beat Ole Miss to leave just three teams this season without a loss in College Football: Mississippi State, beating Kentucky to remain number one, Florida State that had a week off and Marshall, who didn’t really impress in a win against Florida Atlantic.
-
College Football – Only Four Undefeated Teams Left
The number of undefeated teams in College Football falls to four after Florida State beat Notre Dame and West Virginia stunned Baylor. The Seminoles remain one of the four undefeated teams, joined by Marshall, Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Ole Miss Rebels – Best Defense in the SEC
The Texas A&M Aggies might be setting SEC attendance records, but they’re also getting beaten quite badly by Mississippi teams, losing 35-20 to the Ole Miss Rebels, who didn’t need much from Bo Wallace, avoiding any mistakes, thanks to the best defense in the nation.

College Football – Only Six Undefeated Teams Left
Less craziness than last week, but after Auburn, Arizona, Georgia Tech and TCU lost for the first time this season, we’re left with just six undefeated teams: Two in the SEC (Ole Miss & Mississippi State), one in the ACC (Florida State), one in the Big 12 (Baylor), one in Conference USA (Marshall) and Notre Dame, an Independent.
