Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger get to face each other as the unstoppable New York Giants host the improving Pittsburgh Steelers, while the undefeated Atlanta Falcons have a Sunday night date against the turnover-prone Tony Romo and Dallas Cowboys and the AFC’s Best, the Houston Texans, will have a big rushing battle against the Buffalo Bills.

2012 College Football Season – Week 9 BCS Standings
The SEC continues to dominate with a record five teams in the top 10, but it’s clear that Alabama are a leg ahead of the rest, dominating the number 1 spot. Kansas State, Notre Dame and LSU (without even playing) all enjoyed Florida losing to Georgia and falling to #7, while Oregon kept their #4 spot in the standings after beating one of the weakest teams in the nation.

A week that didn’t see a change at the top of the rankings (Alabama still perfect and strong) of the AP Poll, but a move up for Oregon, Kansas State, Notre Dame and even the resting LSU, thanks to Georgia ruining Florida’s season, opening up the SEC East.

College Football – Chances of Undefeated Teams Losing
Each week is just a wait for one of the undefeated teams to lose and clear up some space and confusion at the top of the BCS standings, although it seems highly unlikely Alabama (vs Mississippi State), Florida (vs Georgia), Kansas State (vs Texas Tech) and Oregon (vs Colorado) will lose in week 9. Notre Dame? They have the trickiest game of all, playing in Oklahoma.

LSU and Alabama didn’t move, Stanford and Andrew Luck beat USC and pretty much not much moving around in the top 5, while Kansas State and Clemson lost for the first times this season, while Houston solidify themselves as the top school in Texas.
