2012 College Football Season – Final BCS Standings
There weren’t that many questions left heading into the final weekend of the regular season in College Football, with one big mystery left to be solves – who joins Notre Dame in the BCS national championship game. Alabama, with a dramatic win over Georgia in the SEC Championship game, are the answer, giving Florida the boost it needed to make it into the Sugar Bowl.

2012 College Football Season – Week 13 BCS Standings
Well, no surprises, and no actual change. Notre Dame are number one in the polls and the computers, meaning they rule the BCS standings and won’t be moved, regardless of the results of the conference championship games next week. Alabama or Georgia have somewhat of a semifinal on their hands heading into the SEC title game, with the rest of the fog mostly regarding BCS bowl slots.

For the first time this season, a new number one. The Week 10 BCS Standings feature the Kansas State Wildcats as the number one team in the nation, with Oregon coming in at second. What does this mean for Notre Dame, also undefeated? Unless Oregon and/or Kansas State lose, there’s a very small chance the Fighting Irish make the national championship game.

While there’s no change in the top spot of the BCS rankings, as Alabama beat LSU and put their toughest hurdle behind them and Kansas State kept their second spot after a win over Oklahoma State, Oregon leaped over Notre Dame after a big win over USC, while the Fighting Irish struggled to overcome Pittsburgh in three overtimes.

The SEC continues to dominate with a record five teams in the top 10, but it’s clear that Alabama are a leg ahead of the rest, dominating the number 1 spot. Kansas State, Notre Dame and LSU (without even playing) all enjoyed Florida losing to Georgia and falling to #7, while Oregon kept their #4 spot in the standings after beating one of the weakest teams in the nation.

2012 College Football Season – Week 8 BCS Standings
The second edition of the BCS standing in the 2012 season still has the SEC dominating, with 4 teams (Alabama, Florida, LSU, Georgia) in the top 10, but the Pac-12 is just behind them with the Oregonians and USC. The Big 12 has two teams, with Kansas State climbing into the top 3, which drops Oregon, the number 2 team on the AP Poll into fourth.

2012 College Football Season – Week 7 BCS Standings
The BCS belongs to the SEC, everyone knows that. The first published standings of the season coming out, following week 7 of the 2012 College Football Season gives us the first controversial issue, as Florida rank second behind Alabama at number one, leaving Oregon, number 2 in the AP Poll, a spot behind the Gators.
