Athletics World Championships – Day 4 Results, Gold & Medal Table
A big day for Kenya with two gold medals: One for David Rudisha, the king of the men’s 800 meters run, and a surprising one to Nicolas Bett in the men’s 400 meters hurdles. Swimming World Championships – Day 4 Results, Gold & Medal Table
In the fourth day of swimming in the world aquatic championships, Adam Peaty took two gold medals – one in the 50 meters breaststroke and the other in the mixed 4×100 meters medley relay. Sun Yang of China won the men’s 800 meters freestyle again, Laszlo Cseh took gold in the men’s 200 meters butterfly and Katie Ledecky now has three gold medals from the Kazan meet after winning the women’s 200 meters freestyle.

Copa America – Day 4 Results & Table (Brazil vs Peru, Colombia vs Venezuela)
The fourth day of the Copa America was filled with drama and surprise, as Venezuela stunned Colombia in a 1-0 win while Brazil needed a very late Douglas Costa goal to overcome Peru 2-1 and start their Group C campaign on the right foot.

Chad le Clos of South Africa, only 20, ended Michael Phelps’ reign at the 200 meters butterfly, overtaking the man with more medals (19) than any other athlete in the history of the Olympic games with one final stroke. But Phelps did get his first gold of the Olympics, anchoring Team USA to gold, alongside Ryan Lochte, winning the 4×200 meters freestyle relay.
