2012 College Football Season – Week 11 BCS Standings

For the first time this season, a new number one. The Week 10 BCS Standings feature the Kansas State Wildcats as the number one team in the nation, with Oregon coming in at second. What does this mean for Notre Dame, also undefeated? Unless Oregon and/or Kansas State lose, there’s a very small chance the Fighting Irish make the national championship game.

Real Madrid – Cristiano Ronaldo Only Needs One Eye to Score

A match that shouldn’t have been played at all eventually went in the right direction. Real Madrid had no use of skills and dribbling ability. Just will power and aggression especially without Cristiano Ronaldo, who did open the scoring but was forced to leave at halftime due to the nasty gash above his eye caused right off the bat.

Liverpool FC – Luis Suarez Doing it on his Own

Need someone to score? Luis Suarez is pretty much the only option for Liverpool this season. Need to take out the other team’s captain, by mistake? The Uruguayan is your man. Brendan Rodgers has plenty of tactics and ideas in his head, but 99% of the good things that happen for Liverpool begin or end with Suarez.

Chelsea FC – Fernando Torres Can’t Score vs Ex

A comeback goal from John Terry signaled it would be a great day for Chelsea, but he was taken off the pitch shortly after from a collision. It was up to Eden Hazard and Juan Mata to pick up the slack and find the net, but they couldn’t and grew tired and ineffective as the match drew on, while the man who wanted to score more than everyone, Fernando Torres, was taken off goalless once more.

Luis Suarez Saves the Day (Chelsea vs Liverpool)

For more than 60 minutes, it didn’t really look like Liverpool were planning to score, let alone win, against a superior yet lackluster Chelsea side, leading thanks to John Terry scoring from a corner kick. But Luis Suarez woke up and finally found some room, connecting with a Jamie Carragher cross to make it 1-1, keeping it that way till the end of the match.

2012 College Football Season – Week 11 Rankings

Thanks to Texas A&M, the AP Top 25 of week 11 is a little less complicated, as Alabama lose for the first time this season and drop to fourth, while Oregon take over the number one spot in the nation, followed by Kansas State and Notre Dame, gathering tough wins to keep them undefeated and on course for a national title game.

San Antonio Spurs – Gary Neal in the Spotlight For Once

Tony Parker out with the flu, Gary Neal stepping in, no problem, not missing a beat. Instead of shaking the rotation, Gregg Popovich decided Gary Neal will continue to come off the bench, giving the starting role to Patrick Mills. However, it was Neal, with 27 points, who was the main man responsible for the San Antonio Spurs winning in Portland for the first time since 2008

Lance Armstrong Tweeting he Doesn’t Give a F&^%

After everyone’s pretty much agreed to strip you of seven Tour de France wins, tweeting a picture of you relaxing while staring at your seven framed yellow jerseys is kinda giving the middle finger to anyone who doesn’t support Lance Armstrong.

Chicago Bulls – Nate Robinson Proving His Worth

It was never going to be a one man job filling in for the injured Derrick Rose. Probably for the first time this season, the restocked group known as the bench mob pushed the Chicago Bulls to a win, led by Nate Robinson, enjoying his best game for his new team with 18 points in a 87-80 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
