The Chicago Cubs win their 11th game in a row, dominating the St. Louis Cardinals again. The Baltimore Orioles retake the lead in the AL East after beating the San Francisco Giants, while a terrific performance by the Cleveland Indians puts them further out of reach for the Detroit Tigers, all while Alex Rodriguez helped the New York Yankees win with an RBI double in his final appearance for the team, and probably in baseball.

    NFL: Week 1 Preseason Scores

The second day of NFL preseason action was about most of the away teams winning, including the Miami Dolphins against an Eli Manning-less New York Giants, who like the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers chose not to put their starting quarterbacks on the field. Of those who did start, Teddy Bridgewater, in a Minnesota Vikings win, probably looked best among designated starters.

Islam El Shehaby Refusing to Shake Hands with Or Sasson Disgraced Himself, Egypt, Judo & the Olympic Games

Anti Semitism and hate for the nation of Israel showed itself in its most pitiful form during the Judo match between Israeli Or Sasson, who eventually went on to get a bronze medal, and Egyptian Islam El Shehaby, who refused to shake hands with the Israeli Judoka after losing.

    NFL Preseason: Week 1 Scores

The NFL Preseason is officially open, with a not too impressive performance from Jimmy Garoppolo despite the New England Patriots winning. Cam Newton looked good when he wasn’t getting penalized for celebrating on the field as the Carolina Panthers lost to the Baltimore Ravens, and the post Manning-era began for the Denver Broncos, shutting out the Chicago Bears, and getting a touchdown pass from Mark Sanchez.

  • Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kevin Durant or LeBron James: Who Will Win the MVP?

Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kevin Durant or LeBron James: Who Will Win the MVP?

The main candidates to win the MVP next season: Obviously Stephen Curry, with two in a row behind him. Kevin Durant, who’ll now be a teammate to Curry on the Golden State Warriors. Surely James Harden, who has a solo show going on with the Houston Rockets. And as usual LeBron James is also in the mix, but it’ll probably another season of him taking it a bit easy at time during the regular season. And of course, it’s impossible to forget about Russell Westbrook, without anyone “stealing” his spotlight and possessions, ready to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder on an angry F U tour, directed at a certain player and team.

MLB Rumors: Kansas City Royals With Some Hard Choices Heading Into 2017

The Kansas City Royals are already thinking about what kind of team they’re going to put on the field next season, considering this one is a bust. They seem to have an overload of talent at third base, with Cheslor Cuthbert emerging this season, Mike Moustakas coming back from injury in 2017, and Hunter Dozier ready to start his major league career.
