  1. Very informative post. The Picasso Museum has many works of art. Camp Nou is a must visit as it is the biggest stadium. You can see huge display of cups won, photographs of players in Barcelona FC Museum. Cathedral de la Santa Creu church is the most splendid and awe-inspiring church in the city. Definitive example of the modernity and sanguinity of Barcelona is Agbar Tower. You can enjoy many water sport activities in Port Vell. • It would be nice, but it doesn’t like a very reasonable occurrence in the foreseeable future, until some drastic shift of power in Asian soccer.

  2. Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa will have a 94,700 seating capacity for the 2010 World Cup.

  3. Dont be surprised India has a world’s 2nd largest stadium. Our interest in cricket may have reduced our interest in football but things are changing. By the way – we got the worlds 4th oldest championship – the Durand cup and we have one of the worlds oldest football club – Mohun Bagan AC so if u didnt know – its ur problem!

    • Its original capacity was 100,000 but it has been reduced to 88,000 three years ago, before the 2007 Asian Cup

  4. The best ever stadium is national stadium of bukit jalil…malaysia…..proud to be a malaysian!!!! peace :p……….the proof is? try watch the final malaysia cup 2009….n.sembilan vs kelantan….. hu3

  5. Barcelona of Ecuador plays in that stadium why you say they play in Quito!!!!
    Come on
And yes is one of the most beautiful stadiums I have ever been!!!

    • If you read it again, you’ll see the writing says that the NATIONAL TEAM plays in Quito, not Barcelona

  6. Eden Gardens in Calcutta is the bigest Cricket stadium, get your facts right! Saltlake Stadium( Yuba Bharati Krirarangan) seats 1,20,000 while Eden seats 90,000. Most derby between MohunBagan and Eastbengal in Calcutta draws more than 1,00,000 spectators.

  7. You are correct the aztec stadium from mexico is the 3rd biggest but ur number of seats is wrong it holds somewhere around 110,000 – 115,000…

  8. Where Bung Karno Stadium In Jakarta… No At List… Why Tell Me.. Malaysia Stadium Bukit Jalil Capasity 100,000.. Wow Almazing… Malaysia Boleh…

  9. I just saw this question on “Are you smarter than a 5th grader?” and the answer was:
Reo de Janiro, Brazil has the largest soccer stadium in the world.

I googled the answer and it shows Rungrado May Day Stadium, Pyongyana, North Korea (150,000)

    Which is the correct answer:
    Brazil or North Korea?

    • The North Korea Stadium, although it isn’t used only for soccer, mostly for those huge dictatorship extravaganza events. The Marcana hasn’t been the biggest in quite some time

  10. Ahh yes. Wembly, the most precious stadium in the world. I recall when my grandad, Charles A. Winsworth V bought it. Quite a fortune I do say so myself. Well that’s all chaps, I have to drink my afternoon tea before it gets cold and eat up those crumpets. Chip Chip Cheerio!!

  11. I say! It appears Manchester United are out of the FA Cup. Outrageous blasphemy, I do say so myself. I am of pure red blood, born and raised a Man United fan, and what do I get? A bloody loss. I say, this “Chicharito” lad better overtake the team. I now have lost interest in Man United and am now a Man City fan. Oh, seems its time for my tea. Chip chip cheerio lads!

  12. I understand that the national stadium in sierra leone has not been included among’s the world biggest stadium because it hold about 97,000 seater.

    • @Amadu 97,000 in Sierra Leone? I checked in a few sources and couldn’t find anything bigger than 45,000, the National Stadium in Freetown. Maybe for concerts by filling the ground as well or selling standing tickets only…

  13.
