No surprises on the first night of the playoffs – The Bulls didn’t pose too much of a problem to the LeBron tour de force, Boston suffocated the Heat and Denver rode a rampant Caremlo en route to a win over Utah. In Atlanta, the Hawks stormed the Bucks and just strolled and flew around the paint in the first half. Al Horford and Josh Smith looked like two adults playing with the weak kids. Things changed a bit in the second half, with the Hawks losing focus (who would’ve guessed) but they never let the Bucks get closer than 8.
Josh Smith, the real barometer for this team, was huge in the first half and hardly seen in the second. Still, he got the play of the day, with this super high alley oop throw down off of Joe Johnson’s feed.
