A little bit of shake up in the top 10, although the usual suspects of Alabama, Oregon and Clemson remain in the lead of the top 25, but LSU and Texas A&M make big moves forward, rising thanks to the fall of Georgia and Stanford, losing for the first time in the 2013 season.

The Big Ten saw two teams drop out of the rankings, as Michigan lost for the first time this season, while Northwestern were beaten by Wisconsin quite badly. This means the Badgers and Auburn are the two new teams in the rankings this week.

1. Alabama Crimson Tide, 6-0 (55 first place votes): The road to the national title game continues smoothly against arguably the worst team in the SEC, Kentucky, with a 48-7 win.

2. Oregon Ducks, 6-0 (5): Notched their most impressive win of the season, beating Washington 45-24 after another big and mistake-free day from Marcus Mariota.

3. Clemson Tigers, 6-0: Struggled slightly against Boston College, but still came through with the 24-14 win, getting another big (344 yards) performance from Tajh Boyd.

4. Ohio State Buckeyes, 6-0: Didn’t play, didn’t move.

5. Florida State Seminoles, 5-0: Didn’t play, didn’t move.

6. LSU Tigers, 6-1: Back on track in the SEC West as the number one challengers for Alabama with a 17-6 win over Florida, moving them up four spots.

7. Texas A&M Aggies, 5-1: Survived a wild game in Oxofrd, beating Ole Miss 41-38 with another huge day from Jonny Manziel, improving by two spots.

8. Louisville Cardinals, 6-0: Came out of the toughest game this season with a 24-10 win over Rutgers, staying put.

9. UCLA Bruins, 5-0: A very strong performance from Brett Hundley (three touchdown passes) lead to a 37-10 win over California and a two place rise in the rankings.

10. Miami Hurricanes, 5-0: Didn’t play, and moved up three spots.

11. South Carolina Gamecocks, 5-1: A big game from Connor Shaw and Mike Davis led to a convincing win over Arkansas (52-7), moving up three spots.

12. Baylor Bears, 5-0: One of the two undefeated teams in the Big 12, Baylor beat Kansas State 35-25, moving up three spots.

13. Stanford Cardinal, 5-1: Dropped eight spots after losing for the first time this season, 27-21 in Utah.

14. Missouri, 6-0: The most surprising “perfect” team so far this year, beating Georgia 41-26 and moving up 11 spots.

15. Georgia Bulldogs, 4-2: Too many injuries for Aaron Murray to overcome, leading to their loss against Mizzou and dropping 8 spots.

16. Texas Tech Red Raiders, 6-0: Keep putting up huge offensive numbers with Davis Webb at quarterback, beating Iowa State 42-35 and moving up four spots.

17. Fresno State Bulldogs, 5-0: Didn’t play, yet still managed to move up four spots.

18. Oklahoma Sooners, 5-1: Lost for the first time this season, losing in the Red River Rivalry for the first time since 2009, dropping six spots after the 20-36 defeat against Texas.

19. Virginia Tech Hokies, 6-1: Their sixth consecutive win and a rise of five spots after beating Pittsburgh 19-9.

20. Washington Huskies, 4-2: Gave another Pac-12 North team a bit of a scare, but still not good enough to hang with the big boys, losing to Oregon 45-24, dropping four more spots.

21. Oklahoma State Cowboys, 4-1: Didn’t play, and still moved up a spot.

22. Florida Gators, 4-2: Put on an atrocious offensive performance, falling five spots in the rankings after a 6-17 loss to LSU.

23. Northern Illinois Huskies, 6-0: As always, relied on Jordan Lynch to deliver the goods in a 27-20 win over Akron.

24. Auburn Tigers, 5-1: An easy 62-3 win over Western Carolina, moving into the rankings once again.

25. Wisconsin Badgers, 4-2: Back into the rankings with a very dominant 32-5 win against Northwestern, getting 172 yards on the ground from Mevlin Gordon.
