MLB Postseason Games Scores
The first full day of MLB playoff action ended with both AL division series being one game away from ending: The Toronto Blue Jays took a 2-0 lead on the road over the Texas Rangers, while Corey Kluber and the Cleveland Indians shutout the Boston Red Sox, also up by two games. It was game 1 in both NL division series, as Jon Lester and Johnny Cueto put on one heck of a show, but a Javier Baez home run set up the Chicago Cubs win. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Dodgers relied on their bullpen to keep an early lead going against the Washington Nationals.

NBA Preseason Games Scores
In another night of NBA preseason action, the Cleveland Cavaliers played for the first time, impressing with a win over Orlando Magic, featuring a very sharing and assisting LeBron James in the little time he played. The Oklahoma City Thunder bounced back from a loss to beat Barcelona, led by Enes Kanter once again. The Los Angeles Clippers recovered from the previous shellacking at the hand of the Warriors by beating the Toronto Raptors, which included Blake Griffin throwing a shoe into the face of Corey Joseph.

NBA Preseason Scores
Another night of NBA preseason basketball, this time featuring the Golden State Warriors looking incredibly frightening as they demolished the Los Angeles Clippers, the Houston Rockets looking terrific in a win over the new-look New York Knicks, while the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Boston Celtics, finally getting to see what it is that Joel Embiid can bring to the floor.

NBA Preseason Scores
The NBA preseason is underway, with a mix of teams playing their best players while others preferring to slow it down early. The Oklahoma City Thunder lost against Real Madrid, and so did the Chicago Bulls at home to the Milwaukee Bucks, featuring their new Wade-Rondo- Butler trio. The Toronto Raptors lost at home to the Denver Nuggets despite playing both Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, while the Portland Trail Blazers handled the Utah Jazz with C.J. McCollum and Allen Crabbe doing most of the work.

The 2016 MLB postseason is set, with both the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays clinching their wild card spot in the American League, joining the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers. In the National League, the San Francisco Giants will play in the wild card game against the New York Mets, joining the already set Chicago Cubs, Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Denver Broncos remain undefeated in an impressive defensive display against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Pittsburgh Steelers got back to winning against the Kansas City Chiefs with 5 touchdown passes by Ben Roethlisberger, the Dallas Cowboys keep excelling with rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott running the ship very well against the San Francisco 49ers.

The New York Mets clinch one of the wild card playoff spots, leaving the San Francisco Giants to try and hold off the St. Louis Cardinals in the wild card standings. In the American League, the Seattle Mariners are out of the running and the Detroit Tigers have a very small window left, while the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles share the top spot in the wild card standings.

College Football Week 5 Scores & Standings
A busy week 5 gave us Alabama crushing Kentucky and Ohio State shutting out Rutgers in easy conference wins, while Clemson got their big victory of the season, handing Louisville their first loss of the season, while Michigan didn’t let the power of Wisconsin get in their way, also ending the Badgers undefeated run.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Cubs and the Pittsburgh Pirates end their shortened game in a draw, the first one in 11 years. The St. Louis Cardinals stay alive although still behind the New York Mets and the San Francisco Giants, thanks to a Yadier Molina 9th inning double, which was actually a mistake by the umpires.
