A busy day of bowl games following Christmas, as Nebraska celebrate despite finishing the season with a losing record, Virginia Tech win to give Frank Beamer a proper send off, Duke win a first bowl game in over 50 years thanks to a bad call by the officials, Washington State break a bowl game drought of their own against Miami, Washington look impressive against Southern Miss and Marshall keep on piling those 10-win seasons, this time against Connecticut.

College Football Bowl Season – Day 4 Scores
Another day of two bowl games to advance the bowl season towards its crescendo. Boise State, as usual, ended up as impressive winners, this time routing Northern Illinois in the Poinsettia Bowl, while Georgia Southern made a little bit of history in their demolishing of Bowling Green for the GoDaddy Bowl.

Another day of some minor bowl action, this time with two games: Toledo winning the battle of the former undefeated teams against Temple in the Boca Raton Bowl, while Akron win a bowl game for the first time in school history against Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

The 2015-2016 bowl season began with the Holy War, won by Utah, the only ranked team playing on the first day, in the Las Vegas Bowl. Appalachian State squeaked by Ohio in the Camellia Bowl, Louisiana Tech poured down points in New Orleans, Arizona dominated in New Mexico while San Jose State finish the season with a losing record despite winning the Autonation Cure Bowl.

The final week of the College Football season before the bowl games are upon has gave us its four playoff teams: Number one Clemson, number two Alabama, number three Michigan State and number four, Oklahoma. That’s the selection committee, but even in a BCS world, we would have gotten the same four teams making the playoff.
