2015 College Football Season – Week 1 Rankings
Not a lot of changes in the first top 25 of the season, as Ohio State remain the #1 team compared to preseason following a win over Virginia Tech, while the SEC puts a record 10 teams in the rankings, including Alabama, Auburn and Georgia in the top 10. Arizona State, Stanford and Wisconsin dropped from the rankings following losses, allowing Texas A&M, Utah and Mississippi State to climb in.

College Football – Upsets Won’t Shake Up Rankings Too Much
The first weekend of the 2015 College Football season won’t give us a major shakeup to the preseason rankings, as the losses by Stanford, Arizona State and Wisconsin are all by teams outside the top 14, while favorites to contend for a playoff spot like TCU, Alabama, Baylor and Michigan State didn’t run in to any problems.

College Football 2015 Season – Week 1 Scores & Standings
The opening weekend of the 2015 college football season opens with three ranked teams losing: Wisconsin to Alabama in the AdvoCare Classic (not a surprise) and two less predictable results; Northwestern stunning Stanford and Texas A&M crushing Arizona State. A boring but successful start for Manchester United with a 1-0 win over Tottenham to open the season, while Chelsea stuttered with 10 men at home to get a 2-2 draw against Swansea. Best Photos in Week 1 of the 2014 NFL Season
Maybe the best photos in week 1 of the NFL season don’t tell the whole story, but even from them one might sense that it was an awful week for the NFC East, as the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and the Washington Redskins didn’t just lose, but looked close to pathetic doing so.

NFL Week 1 Losers With Reasons to be Optimistic
Some teams that lose on the first week of the new NFL seasons are as bad as they looked. But others who are already with one loss on the column, like the New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts, still have plenty of things to be optimistic about.

2014 NFL Season – Week 1 Power Rankings
There’s a lot of prejudice in the first power rankings of the NFL season, but through the combination of expectations and first impressions, it would be hard to argue that the best teams in the NFL right now are once again the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos.

College Football – 2014 Week 1 Rankings
There’s no real change in the top of the rankings after the week 1 games, as Florida State and Alabama occupy the top two despite unimpressive wins. Georgia (after beating Clemson) and Texas A&M (defeating South Carolina) are the high risers, scorching their way into the top 10, while Louisville beating Miami made them the only new team in the rankings, coming in instead of an unimpressive Washington team.

Serie A – Week 1 Results & Table
All three main title contenders – Juventus (at Chievo), Roma (hosting Fiorentina) and Napoli (at Genoa) picked up opening day wins to start off their Series A campaign, but AC Milan themselves are also off to a good start with an impressive win and performance against Lazio.
