NFL Preseason – Week 4 Scores
The final preseason round of games was played with mostly backups and team hopefuls on display. Tim Tebow outplayed Matt Barkley for the Philadelphia Eagles, Russell Wilson had one play and one touchdown for the Seattle Seahawks and the Tennessee Titans were another rarity by playing their starting quarterback, Marcus Mariota.

College Football – Preseason Rankings
Preseason rankings don’t mean anything and yet they interest us so much heading into the 2015 season, with Ohio State, the national champions, getting all the first place votes while the top 5 is rounded off with TCU, Alabama, Baylor and Michigan State.

NFL Preseason Scores (Week 1, Day 1)
The first day of preseason action was highlighted by bad performances from the New England Patriots quarterbacks (Tom Brady, Jimmy Garoppolo), the San Diego Chargers beating the Tony Romo-less Dallas Cowboys, an impressive looking Detroit Lions against a sad New York Jets and Ryan Tannehill doing very well for the Miami Dolphins in a loss to the Chicago Bears.

College Football – Preseason Coaches Rankings
The first coaches poll of the season, the preseason one, means that the 2015 College Football season is just around the corner, with national champions Ohio State looking like the on-paper favorites at the moment, although TCU & Alabama also get mentioned.

Match Highlights – San Jose Earthquakes vs Manchester United
It’s another win for Manchester United in the International Champions Cup friendly tour, beating San Jose Earthquakes with goals from Juan Mata, Memphis Depay and Andres Pereira, while Fatai Alashe got one back for the hosts just before half time.

The Australian tour continues for Liverpool with another win, this time against Adelaide United, beating their hosts 2-0 with second half goals from James Milner and Danny Ings.

The Barclays Asia Trophy was won by Arsenal, beating Everton 3-1 in Singapore through goals by Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil.

A comfortable start for Liverpool on their Asian tour, beating a team of Thailand stars 4-0 with goals from Lazar Markovic, Mamadou Sakho, Adam Lallana and Divock Origi.
