Premier League – Week 11 Results & Table
A status quo at the top of the table as Chelsea remain as the number one team following an important yet slightly lucky win over Liverpool at Anfield, while Southampton keep in touch with a late victory against Leicester and Manchester United are back in the hunt for a Champions League spot following their narrow win against Crystal Palace.

Match Highlights – Liverpool vs Chelsea
Another win for Chelsea, again at Anfield, beating Liverpool 2-1. The home team took the lead with a deflected Emre Can shot. Gary Cahill equalized shortly after and Diego Costa put them in front in the second half. But referee Anthony Taylor did a terrible job of officiating, missing out on a clear hand ball by Gary Cahill in the box and two red cards that should have been given to Ramires and Costa.

Match Highlights – Manchester City vs Manchester United
The first Manchester derby of the season had the same familiar ending of the previous ones as Manchester City claimed a 1-0 victory thanks to a second half Sergio Aguero goal, overcoming a 10-man Manchester United team, playing well despite having Chris Smalling sent off due to a double booking within nine minutes in the first half.

Match Highlights – Liverpool vs Swansea
This might not be the best of seasons for Liverpool but at least they’re doing well in the League Cup, coming from behind to beat Swansea 2-1 with two late goals from Mario Balotelli and Dejan Lovren, unlucky to probably not have scored more goals in the first half.

Match Highlights – Manchester United vs Chelsea
The injury time goal from Robin van Persie might be one of the more important ones we’ll see this season, denying Chelsea a chance to escape even further in the top of the Premier League, as Manchester United salvage a 1-1 draw after falling behind due to a Didier Drogba goal.

Match Highlights – Liverpool vs Hull, Sunderland vs Arsenal
Two goals from Alexis Sanchez helped out Arsenal find a hard earned victory against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, walking away with the 2-0 win, while another frustrating day for Mario Balotelli was part of another disappointing home match for Liverpool, finishing in a 0-0 draw with Hull City.

A humiliating experience for Liverpool at Anfield, losing 3-0 to Real Madrid with a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo and two more from Karim Benzema, as the gap between the two teams was painfully revealed.

Champions League – Week 3 Results & Table (Groups E – H)
A special day in the Champions League with matches in groups E through H, with 40 goals scored, including eight in the 7-1 win for Bayern Munich over Roma and seven in the 7-0 win for Shakhtar Donetsk in Belarus over BATE Borisov, as Luiz Adriano tied the Lionel Messi record with five goals. Messi himself scored in a 3-1 Barcelona win over Ajax, while Chelsea beat Maribor 6-0.
