College Football – Playoff Picture and Rankings Completely Changed
Week 11 proved to be a crucial one in the shaping of the final rankings and eventually, the playoff picture with the final four teams. Mississippi State and Florida State with relatively easy games continue to stay the course, but Alabama took a huge leap forward over Auburn, who lost to LSU, while Oregon got over what might be the final hurdle in the Pac-12 by beating Utah. Ohio State took control of the Big Ten by beating Michigan State and both Baylor and TCU now have an equal claim to the rights of winning the Big 12.

While the top two teams in the nation, Mississippi State and Florida State had themselves something of a cakewalk weekend in week 11, below them havoc reigned, as number three Auburn lost while Oregon and Alabama got big wins in what should cement their place right now heading into the deciding days regarding the college football playoff.

A status quo at the top of the table as Chelsea remain as the number one team following an important yet slightly lucky win over Liverpool at Anfield, while Southampton keep in touch with a late victory against Leicester and Manchester United are back in the hunt for a Champions League spot following their narrow win against Crystal Palace.

As expected, the top 25 of the BCS standings took a big hit and shake, as Florida State took a big step towards being in the national championship game with Alabama, distancing themselves at number 2 from the rest of the chasing pack, as things are quite close between Ohio State, Stanford and Baylor battling for third.

2013 College Football Season – BCS Favorites Taking Care of Business
Week 11 was about two teams separating themselves from the rest of the field: Alabama beating LSU to maintain their undefeated and number 1 status; Florida State to cement their spot as the number 2 team in the BCS standings, leaving Baylor and Ohio State behind them, waiting for one of the top two teams to drop the ball, although that seems highly unlikely.

Premier League – Week 11 Results & Table
While the biggest match of the weekend hasn’t happened yet, two results meant quite a lot in what’s shaping up to be the title race: Liverpool had an easy 4-0 win over the falling apart Fulham thanks to a brace from Luis Suarez, and Chelsea dropped two points by drawing at home against West Brom thanks to Ramires diving and winning a made up penalty kick in injury time.

For the first time this season, a new number one. The Week 10 BCS Standings feature the Kansas State Wildcats as the number one team in the nation, with Oregon coming in at second. What does this mean for Notre Dame, also undefeated? Unless Oregon and/or Kansas State lose, there’s a very small chance the Fighting Irish make the national championship game.

Thanks to Texas A&M, the AP Top 25 of week 11 is a little less complicated, as Alabama lose for the first time this season and drop to fourth, while Oregon take over the number one spot in the nation, followed by Kansas State and Notre Dame, gathering tough wins to keep them undefeated and on course for a national title game.

Week 11 – Who Can Beat the Undefeated Teams
Week 11 of the 2012 College Football season has already begun, but the real fun begins on Saturday: All four undefeated national title contenders – Alabama, Kansas State, Oregon and Notre Dame in action, with three of them playing on the road. Louisville are undefeated as well, but aren’t in contention for anything but a BCS bowl game, while Ohio State are simply playing, and winning, for nothing.

Late November, 11 weeks of NFL action and everything is as expected – Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers can’t lose, Sam Bradford keeps getting sacked, and Jay Cutler leads the Bears to a fifth straight win and Bears fans are sad he’s out for the season. Wait, What?!
