2015 College Football Season – Week 2 Rankings
The top 3 remains unchanged following week 2 as Ohio State, Alabama and TCU cruise against weak teams. Michigan State make a small but meaningful jump after beating Oregon, who along with Auburn took the big plummets of the week, as the Tigers struggling against an FCS team costs them 12 spots. BYU, Oklahoma State and Northwestern make their first appearances in the top 25 this season, filling in for three SEC teams that dropped out: Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi State.

College Football – Rankings Starting to Change From Upsets and Close Calls
Teams like Ohio State, Alabama, TCU and Baylor are in the clear for now. Michigan State got rid of Oregon in what should lead to some major rankings change, Auburn almost lost to an FCS team which says something about their bid and hope of winning the SEC and making the College Football Playoffs while others, like USC, LSU and maybe Georgia, Florida State and Clemson are hoping they find themselves in the discussion at some point.

While the main contenders for the college football playoff (Ohio State, Alabama and TCU) cruised to victories against unimportant rivals, Michigan State knocked off a huge one by beating Oregon, Oklahoma broke the hearts of Tennessee fans again, Auburn nearly lost at home to an FCS team and Arkansas suffered an embarrassing home loss against Toledo to end the talk of them being a threat in the SEC.

English Premier League – Week 2 Results, Table, Goals & Highlights
A weekend that started with a dull win for Manchester United at Villa Park, and was followed with plenty of goals, including three for Everton in Southampton, two of them by Romelu Lukaku; three also for Norwich on the road against Sunderland and four overall in a home draw for Tottenham against Stoke, while Leicester remain on top of the table with an away win against West Ham.

The stars of the second night of Champions League football in week 2, with groups A through D in actions, were Cristiano Ronaldo, helping Real Madrid overcome a tough Bulgarian host, and Danny Welbeck, scoring a hat trick for Arsenal as they won for the first time, beating Galatasaray 4-1.

The second week of the Champions League continues with groups A through D, as Juventus visiting Atletico Madrid stands to be the ‘big’ match of the evening, while Real Madrid in Bulgaria against Ludogorets and Liverpool playing Basel in Switzerland are also something that deserve quite a bit of focus.

Chelsea beat Sporting in Lisbon, Bayern Munich slumbered to a victory in Moscow and Manchester City are still without a win after a home draw against Roma.

The Group Stage of the 2014-2015 Champions League continues with matches in Groups E, F, G and H. At the center of attention will be the Anglo-Italian clash of Manchester City hosting Roma and also the mega meeting between PSG and Barcelona, but plenty of focus will be given to Chelsea, facing a tough road test in Lisbon against Sporting.

The Super Bowl champions have lost, which means that despite not having the smoothest of victories, the Denver Broncos look like the team to beat at the moment, followed by a very solid Cincinnati Bengals who lost their best wide receiver. At the bottom of the tower stand the pathetic Oakland Raiders, getting a strong competition from the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
