NFL: Week 2 Preseason Scores
In a short day of action, the Dallas Cowboys stood out with another terrific performance from backup quarterback Dak Prescott, involved in four touchdowns, while Tony Romo had a quiet preseason debut. Colt McCoy looked pretty good for the Redskins, still without Cousins in their preseason games, while no offense went the San Diego Chargers way against a rough looking Arizona Cardinals team, as both teams failed to score an offensive touchdown.

NFL: Week 2 Preseason Scores
The NFL Preseason began its second week of action, with the best starting quarterback performance belonging to Robert Griffin III, despite the Cleveland Browns losing to the Atlanta Falcons, throwing two touchdown passes, one of them to Terrelle Pryor. Jimmy Garoppolo looked good in a New England Patriots win, mostly against the lesser defense, and Russell Wilson looked surprisingly rusy in a Seattle Seahawks loss.

NFL: Week 1 Preseason Scores
The Los Angeles Rams hosting the Dallas Cowboys stood out for two reasons among Saturday’s preseason games: The return to Los Angeles, and Jared Goff’s debut, which didn’t go so well. The Cowboys and the Indianapolis Colts were the only teams not playing their starting quarterbacks this season. This gave Dak Prescott a chance to show his stuff, while both Marcus Mariota and Philip Rivers looked good among the other starting QBs.

The Charlotte Hornets didn’t lose to the Indiana Pacers 98-86 because Jeremy Lin didn’t play. They lost because Jeremy Lin, Al Jefferson, Nicolas Batum, Jeremy Lamb, Marvin Williams and Spencer Hawes didn’t play. Who did they actually put on the floor?

NBA Preseason Scores
The NBA preseason is winding down but there’s still plenty of action to go around. The Golden State Warriors destroyed the Los Angeles Lakers with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in fine form, the Los Angeles Clippers survived the scoring onslaught of Damian Lillard and the Charlotte Hornets lost for the first time, although most of their key players were resting.

In a not-too-busy night of NBA preseason, a huge Anthony Davis game didn’t prevent the New Orleans Pelicans losing, Gerald Green was once again the spark plug for the Miami Heat, Jeremy Lin & Nicolas Batum dominated for the undefeated Charlotte Hornets, Mike Conley won the game for the Memphis Grizzlies and Markieff Morris actually looks happy in another Phoenix Suns win.

NBA Preseason Scores
Not too much going on during a Tuesday night of preseason basketball. Blake Griffin looked excellent in a Los Angeles Clippers demolition of the Golden State Warriors, Paul George was terrific as the Indiana Pacers lost to the Chicago Bulls while Kevin Durant had his best game of the preseason in an Oklahoma City Thunder win over the Utah Jazz.

On a fun night of preseason basketball, Jeremy Lin and Kemba Walker kept the Charlotte Hornets perfect in the preseason, the Cleveland Cavaliers won for the first time while leaving the Dallas Mavericks win-less, James Harden and Ty Lawson looked great in a Houston Rockets win while Ryan Kelly of all people pulled off a game-winning dunk for the Los Angeles Lakers in the final seconds of their encounter with the Portland Trail Blazers.

A busy Sunday of preseason NBA basketball, that included the San Antonio Spurs presenting LaMarcus Aldridge to their fans in a win over the Detroit Pistons, the Cleveland Cavaliers with Kevin Love but without LeBron James losing again, this time to the Toronto Raptors, and the Oklahoma City Thunder firing on all cylinders with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in a win over the Denver Nuggets.

The Charlotte Hornets beat the New York Knicks 97-93 to remain perfect in the preseason, but played without an ill and resting Jeremy Lin, something that was evident in the team’s offensive fluidity and style.
