College Football – 2014 Week 2 Rankings
The number one team in the nation remains Florida State according to the rankings, but Oregon leap over Alabama to the number two spot thanks to their win over Michigan State as the Big Ten took some major hits from the voters and on the field. BYU, destroying Texas, and Virginia Tech, stunning Ohio State, are newcomers to the top 25 this season.

College Football – Big Ten Takes Huge Rankings & Playoffs Hit
It’s not wise to make assumptions about what happens at the end of the season based on week 2 results, but it’s safe to say the Big Ten won’t be having a team in the College Football playoffs after a terrible run of results in one day, with Michigan State (losing to Oregon), Ohio State (defeated by Virginia Tech) and Michigan (crushed by Notre Dame) getting beaten quite harshly to show how far their conference seems to be right now from the rest.

La Liga – Week 2 Results & Table
It didn’t take long for Barcelona to grab control of the lead in Spain, winning a tough match at Villarreal, while Real Madrid lose for the first time this season, dropping a two goal lead against Real Sociedad, a day after Atletico Madrid won their first league match of the season against Eibar.

Premier League – Week 2 Results & Table
Six matches were played to open the second weekend of Premier League football, highlighted by Chelsea beating Leicester to remain on top of the table, joined by Swansea, winning against Burnley, to be perfect after two matches. Arsenal managed to climb out of a two-goal hole at Goodison Park, drawing with Everton in a fantastic match.
